To my watchers/buddies: Features are still open, and despite what the rules below say, you are not required to bother with a feature on me if you haven't the time. So if you desire a feature, but have not yet asked due to the dread of having to run your own, fear not! You may ask and be featured, and then feature me at your leisure (which can be a year from now if it must, haha.)
I'm all up for trades, requests, and collabs. Just sayin'
So anyway, feature time, because I should.
Here's how it works: the first 15 people to reply to this journal will receive a free feature, as long as they qualify. The rules are: you need to watch me to to qualify, you need to do one of these in your journal, and when featuring: you need top add me and 14 other people to the list. Then, you're supposed to include three of your favorite pieces by them. I can't do this because I am not a subscriber. I'll have to stick to links. Lastly, if you wish you can do a small write up about the artist and their work.
Some folks are being featured right off the bat, because A: They featured me B: They're awesome. Or C: Both of the above. So here we go.
1.
[link] [link] [link]Stormers is a guy I've known for a bit. He's an experienced and quite good artist, particularly in photo manips. I've had the pleasure of working with him on several occasions, always fun, and the pieces have each come out very nicely. He's also a pretty darn good digi painter. Check him out, or I'll smack ya.
2.
[link] [link] [link]Roadblock, or Arbie as he's often called, is another guy I've known for a while. In fact he first got me interested in graphics when he created a forum signatue for me that stemmed from an argument of whether foxes were better than squirrels or not. Anywaaay, he also happens to be particularly gifted in the area of photo manips, especially post apo. The three pieces I've linked to are excellent examples. Stop by and give his gallery a look.
3.
[link] [link] [link] Soad is a guy I recently ran across while looking at the recent deviations. His unique style and eye for color have quickly made him one of my favorite artists, check out his gallery.
4.
[link] [link] [link]Ah, Jacquie. Known this girl for a while. Besides being a pretty good cartoonist, she's also an epic writer, though she'd never tell you that. Give her galleries a going over, and let her know what you think. She's radical.
5.
[link] [link] [link]Once again, I've known this guy for a while. He's been showing vast improvement in his graphical prowess this past year. As shown in the examples above, he has a knack for bringing color into a piece, sometimes to the point of it neing nearly overwhelming, yet he manages keep those colors reigned in just enough to make it work. In the third link, you can see that even when he forgoes colors for a simpler scheme, he can still pull off a very nice tag.
6.
[link] [link] [link]Stormsworder. Can you say multitalented? While she's only recently gotten back into gfx (an dA thanks to me, hah.) Sworder has already begun developing a nice flair to her tags. She's also a talented writer, with her most well known work being a Legend Of Zelda fan fiction that has reached nearly thirty chapters now.
